The country reported 8,084 new coronavirus cases and 10 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 a.m. on June 13. One-day recoveries stood at 4,592.
Active Covid-19 cases stood at 47,995—the highest in over three months—as fresh cases continue to surge.
