Covid-19 India Updates: Fresh Cases Drop Below 2,000; Daily Deaths At 15

India's fresh Covid-19 cases fell below the 2,000-mark, the lowest in over four months.

India reported addition of 1,968 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the 8 a.m. update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. There were 3,481 recoveries and 15 deaths during the same period.

The country's active case tally now stands at 34,598.
