Byju's Ropes In Lionel Messi As Brand Ambassador For Social Initiative

Byju's, India's highest d edtech startup operated by Think & Learn Pvt. Ltd., has roped in footballer Lionel Messi as its global brand ambassador for its social impact arm Education For All.

The organisation is involved in providing equitable education.

"The long-term engagement...will see him (Messi) feature in campaigns promoting Byju's Education For All", according to a company statement.

Byju's, with Messi on board, hopes to connect with 3.5 billion football fans worldwide. The footballer alone has a social media following of nearly half a billion. Earlier this year, the edtech startup became the official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
