demand for a higher quality of product than what is easily available through the known quick service restaurant brands.
Domino’s is the clear market leader with first-mover advantage. Pizza Hut is a relative winner as the brand is currently at a stage of awareness more than availability (providing significant opportunity for accelerated store expansion).
With globalisation and improved per-capita income, came other international brands such as McDonald’s alongside domestic players including La Pino’z, Smokin’ Joe’s and Chicago Pizza.
