Reliance Securities Report
Interglobe Aviation Ltd. recorded subdued performance in Q4 FY22. Its revenue increased by 29% YoY to Rs 80.2 billion versus our estimate of Rs 81.9 billion, as capacity increased by 6% YoY due to easing of flight capacity restrictions.
Number of passenger yields came in at Rs 4.4. Passenger revenue grew by 38% YoY, while ancillary revenue grew by 19% YoY.
Cost of available seat kilometer for the quarter stood at Rs 4.79, while revenue per available seat-kilometer stood at Rs 3.97.
Passenger load factor increased by 6.5 % YoY to 76.7%. It reported an Ebitdar of Rs 1 billion and Ebitdar margin of 1.3%, due to sharp jump of 61% YoY in aviation turbine fuel prices.
IndiGo recorded a net loss of Rs 16.8 billion as against net loss of Rs 11.5 billion in Q4 FY21 and Rs 1.3 billion net profit in Q3 FY22, impacted by forex loss of Rs 6.1 billion
