The demand for cables and wires has been healthy across residential, industrial, and infrastructure segments. This coupled with an uptick in exports is expected to drive volume growth moving forward. Meanwhile, the pricing is expected to remain moderate given softening of commodity prices, especially copper.

For air conditioners and coolers, Q2 is a seasonally weak quarter, thus growth is expected to remain moderate. In the other electric consumer durables, the demand for mid-premium and premium products continues to grow while demand for entry level products remained subdued.

The demand for lighting, water heaters, and fans, too, stood subdued during the quarter.
