Dolat Capital Report
Wholesale numbers are expected to be strong in September 2022 across segments (two-wheeler, commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles) led by channel stocking and strong demand for PVs and premium bikes.
Although enquiries are strong, retail sales in the month of September was little slower due to unprecedented excess rainfall, Shraddha period (from Sep 10 to Sep 25) and weaker Ganesha Chaturthi festive sales.
We expect recent fall in metal prices will provide a room for original equipment manufacturers to render discounts and persuade customers.
Cost pressures and supply chain issues are easing off gradually and footfalls and customer walk-ins are picking up. Dealers are anticipating strong festive season demand this year and are focused on inventory building to meet festive season demand.
