The country reported 7,219 fresh infections and 33 deaths in the last 24-hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 11:00 am on Sept. 3.
One-day recoveries stood at 9,651 while the daily positivity rate of the country is currently 1.98%.
The current recovery rate stands at 98.68%.
A total of 213.01 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under national wide vaccination drive.
