FPIs Stay Net Sellers For The Second Straight Day

Foreign portfolio investors net sold equities worth Rs 2,509.55 crore, as per data from the National Stock Exchange.

Domestic institutional investors were net buyers for the third day in a row, purchasing equities worth Rs 263.07 crore.

Institutions have net sold Rs 1,868.76 crore worth of equities so far in September and Rs 35,251.84 crore worth of Indian equities till date in 2022.

The Sensex lost over 260 points or 0.44% to close at 59,456.78 on the BSE, while the Nifty 50 also declined by similar magnitude to end at 17,718.35 on the NSE.
