FPIs Snap Twelve-Day Buying Streak To Turn Net Sellers

The longest-buying streak by FPIs in 2022 lasted 13 days, from July 28 to Aug. 17.

Overseas investors in Indian equities snapped twelve days of net buying to turn net sellers on Tuesday.

Foreign portfolio investors net sold equities worth Rs 221.32 crore today, according to data from the National Stock Exchange.

The longest-buying streak by FPIs in 2022 lasted 13 days, from July 28 to Aug. 17.

Domestic institutional investors remained net sellers and sold equities worth Rs 549.28 crore.

Institutions have net bought Rs 7,210.86 crore worth of equities so far in November, and net sold Rs 24,486.05 crore worth of Indian equities till date in 2022.

The Sensex advanced about 0.40% to close at 61,872.99, while the Nifty 50 rose by 0.49% to close at 18,419.75.
