La Opala Q2 Results Review - Healthy Growth Trajectory Continues: Centrum Broking

Centrum Broking Report
La Opala RG Ltd. clocked best quarter in terms of sales and profitability. Sales stood at Rs 1349 million (up 46% YoY), Ebitda of Rs 532 million (up 50% YoY) and profit before tax of Rs 516 million (up 42%).
Sales, Ebitda and profit after tax grew at compound annual growth rate of 26/25/16% respectively over Q2 FY20-23.
Durga Puja and Diwali this year were earlier than last year. Hence the impact of festival sales was larger in Q2 FY23 versus last year.
Also, the newly commenced (in June-22) opalware facility of 11,000 tonne contributed to the sales during the quarter. Gross margins and Ebitda margins remained steady at 79% and 39% respectively.
