Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd.’s FY22 annual report speaks vividly on its focus towards Ethanol and how Ethanol would be the key growth driver for the company in coming years.

The company is currently undergoing capex to enhance its aggregate distillery capacity from 560 kilo litres pe day as on March 31, 2022 to 1,050 KLPD by November 2022, which will make the company the largest Ethanol manufacturer in Uttar Pradesh and amongst the biggest in the country.

Post expansion the company shall be able to manufacture ~350 million litres of ethanol at peak levels. With the government advancing its 20% ethanol blending target to 2025, Balrampur Chini is positioned strongly to service the incremental demand expected to flow in from the oil marketing companies.

Balrampur Chini’s capacity is expected to be around 7% of pan -India requirement at 10% blending and ~4% at 20% blending requirement for India.
