UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt ruled out standing for the leadership of the Conservative Party after Prime Minister Liz Truss said she’d step down, a spokesman said.

It’s a reiteration of a position Hunt voiced earlier in the week, when he told Sky News he didn’t aspire to succeed Truss.

“I rule it out, Mrs. Hunt rules it out, three Hunt children rule it out,” he said.
