Kantara OTT Release: Here's Where You Can Watch Rishabh Shetty's Kannada Blockbuster

After an incredible theatrical run, owing to the sheer brilliance of the film, ‘Kantara’, one of the biggest blockbusters of the year, is finally available to stream on OTT. The Rishabh Shetty starrer, which was released in cinemas on September 30, 2022, has been released digitally today, i.e. on November 24, 2022.

After an extremely successful run at the theatres in various languages, Rishabh Shetty’s Kannada blockbuster, Kantara is streaming on Amazon Prime Video from today, i.e. November 24 onward. Following the audience’s appreciation in the theatres, this superhit film is now ready to stun the digital audience as well. Kantara is now available to stream in four different languages, namely Kannada, Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam.

Written and Directed by Rishabh Shetty, Kantara is a Kannada-language mystical action thriller film. Set in Kaadubettu, a fictional village in Dakshina Kannada, the narrative of the film explores the ideological conflict between humans and nature.

While one set of people wants to protect nature along with the tradition and culture attached to it, another set of them, blinded by greed, wants to tear it all apart. In this thrilling story, Rishabh Shetty plays the role of Shiva, the protagonist who tries to defend his village, nature and the traditions that surround it.

Kantara is produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Hombale Films, the production house that produced KGF as well. The film was highly appreciated for its cinematic brilliance and direction. Kantara was a huge commercial success at the box office. In fact, it emerged as the second highest-grossing Kannada film of all time and the second highest-grossing Kannada film of 2022.

Meanwhile, after the incredible response from the audience for this Kanada film’s Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and even Hindi versions, the film is now being dubbed in Tulu and will be released in the theatres soon.
