IBPS SO Recruitment 2022: Registration Ends Today, Here's How To Register Online

On November 21, 2022, the IBPS will close the online registration period for the recruitment of Specialist Officers (SO). IBPS's official website, which is ibps.in, is where interested applicants can register for the IBPS SO positions. Additionally, even the fee payment through the online mode will end today.

Only one post is open to applicants. Further, the IBPS will instantly reject any applicants who submit multiple applications. According to the notification, “Candidates seeking age relaxation will be required to submit necessary certificate(s) in original/ copies at the time of Interview and at any subsequent stage of the recruitment process as required by IBPS/ Participating Bank(s).”


IBPS hopes to fill 710 positions in total through this recruitment drive. The official notice states that the main exam will be held on January 29, 2023, while the online preliminary exam is tentatively scheduled for December 24 or December 31, 2022. In February 2023, the results for the same will be announced.

  • Step 1: Visit IBPS's official website at ibps.in.

  • Step 2: Look for and select the IBPS SO Recruitment 2022 link on the homepage.

  • Step 3: Candidates will need to input their login information and click submit as soon as a new page opens.

  • Step 4: Then finish out the application and make the necessary payment.

  • Step 5: When the procedure is complete, click on submit.

  • Step 6: Download and save the IBPS confirmation page.

  • Step 7: Keep a paper copy of the recruitment’s confirmation page in case you require it later.

Other Important Information

Age as of November 1, 2022:

  • Minimum age cap: 20 years

  • Maximum age cap: 30 years, meaning the nominee must have been born between November 2, 1992, and November 1, 2002 (both dates are inclusive).

The test will be divided into two levels; the online preliminary and main exams will be held in separate phases. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS SO examination each year (IBPS). This examination is used to choose Specialist Officers (SO) for several Public Sector Banks.
