NEET SS 2022 Counselling Round 1 Registration To Begin Today - Check Schedule & Steps To Register

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a schedule for the Allotment Process of the All India Counseling program for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Super Specialty (SS) Courses (D.M/M.CH & DNB SS) for the year 2022. Registrations for the first round of the aforementioned NEET Super Specialty counselling session will begin today, Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

NEET SS Counselling 2022 Round 1 Schedule

According to the schedule shared on the official website of MCC, the registration facility will begin on November 22, 2022. This will then remain available till 12:00 noon on November 28, 2022. Meanwhile, candidates applying for the session will get to use the payment facility from November 22, 2022, to 3:00 pm November 28, 2022. Both these timings will be considered according to the Server Time of the portal.

Although the registration process for the 1st round of NEET SS counselling begins today, the Choice Filling or Locking facility isn’t available to the registrants yet. According to the schedule, the Choice Filling facility will be made available from November 25, 2022, up to 11:55 pm on November 28, 2022. Whereas, the Choice Locking facility will be available from 04:00 pm to 11:55 pm on only one day, which is, November 28, 2022.

Seat Allotment for the counselling sessions will be processed between November 29 and November 30, 2022. Post that, the result for the seat allotment for round 1 will be announced on December 1, 2022. Once the result is announced, candidates are expected to report to their allotted college between December 2 to December 7, 2022.

NEET SS Counselling 2022 Round 2 Schedule

The MCC has also released the schedule for the second round of the All India Counseling sessions for NEET SS 2022. According to this schedule, candidates can register for round 2 of the counselling sessions starting from December 9, 2022, upto 12:00 noon on December 14, 2022. Meanwhile, the payment facility opens up for the candidates on the same day i.e. on December 9 and closes at 3:00 pm on December 14, 2022.

Unlike round 1, where the Choice Filling starts 3 days after the registration starts, for round 2, Choice Filling starts on the next day of the registration date, i.e. on December 10, 2022. However, the Choice Filling facility remains open only till 11:55 pm on December 14, 2022. Meanwhile, the Choice Locking facility is made available to the candidates only between 4:00 pm to 11:55 pm on December 14, 2022.

The Seat Allotment will be processed within 2 days, i.e. between December 15 to December 16, 2022. The results for round 2 of the counselling session will be announced on December 17, 2022. According to the seats allotted in this round, candidates will be required to report to their allotted college between December 18 to December 24, 2022.

How To Register For NEET SS Counselling 2022?

Candidates can now easily register for the All India Counselling session for NEET SS 2022 via the official MCC website. Simply follow the steps mentioned below and then wait for your results:

  1. Click on https://mcc.nic.in/ to visit the official website of MCC.

  2. Click on the ‘Super Speciality Counselling’ tab on the right side of your screen.

  3. Then on the home page, click on the registration link.

  4. Enter all the required details accurately and fill in your NEET SS 2022 round 1 application form.

  5. Upload the requisite documents and choose your preferred test centres and submit.

  6. Pay the NEET SS application fee.

  7. Now, download or take a printout of the application form.

That’s it, your registration is done. Now you can fill use the Choice Filling facility and Choice Locking facility as and when it opens.
