Polling Ends In Phase 2 Of Gujarat Elections

The voter turnout at the end of voting was 64.39%, according to Election Commission of India.

  • Sabarkantha recorded the highest turnout at 68.33% , followed by Banaskantha at 65.65%.

  • Mahisagar at 54.26% and in Ahmedabad district at 55.2% . Another urban district Vadodara recorded 63.9% voting

The turnout in the phase 1 of the 2022 elections across 89 Assembly seats, on Dec 01 was 63.31%.

The final voter turnout in the second phase of the 2017 Assembly election on these 93 seats stood at 69.99%.

  • Sabarkantha district recorded the highest turnout 39.73%, followed by Chhota Udepur 38.18%.

  • Ahmedabad recorded 30.82% voter turnout. In Vadodara, it was 34.07%.
