Fresh Covid-19 cases in India stayed at the highest level in more than five months, as the nation reported over 20,000 cases for the third day in a row.
The country reported 21,880 new cases and 60 deaths in the last 24-hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 a.m. on July 21. That's the highest number of infection additions since Feb. 19.
New cases continue to outpace recoveries, pushing up the active tally closer to the 1.5-lakh mark.
