Covid-19 India Updates: Fresh Cases Hover Around 20,000-Mark; Daily Deaths At 53

India's fresh Covid-19 infections continued to hover around the 20,000-mark.
The country reported 19,893 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Aug. 4. That compared with single-day recoveries at 20,419.
The active tally remained below the 1.4-lakh mark.
