Covid-19 India Updates: Fresh Cases At 18,815; Daily Deaths At 38

Fresh Covid-19 cases in India dropped marginally from a day earlier but stayed above 18,000.

The country reported 18,815 new infections and 38 deaths in the last 24-hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 a.m. on July 8.

Recoveries continue to lag new cases, driving up the active tally.
