Ace stock market investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, often referred to as India's Warren Buffett, died in Mumbai Sunday morning.

The passing of Jhunjhunwala is being condoled by his friends, well wishers, politicians and industry stalwarts.

Gautam Adani, Ratan Tata, Uday Kotak led India Inc. in paying tributes to veteran stock market investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.

Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group, said Jhunjhunwala will always be remembered for his acute understanding of the markets as well as for his jovial personality, kindness, and foresightedness.

In his condolence message sent to BQ Prime, HDFC’s Deepak Parekh called Jhunjhunwala an eternal India optimist.
