FPIs Stay Net Sellers For The Third Straight Day

Foreign portfolio investors offloaded equities worth Rs 1,546.9 crore, according to data from the National Stock Exchange.

Overseas investors in Indian equities remained net sellers for the third day in a row on Monday.

Foreign portfolio investors offloaded equities worth Rs 1,546.9 crore, according to data from the National Stock Exchange.

Domestic institutional investors were net buyers for the third straight day and mopped up stocks worth Rs 1,418.6 crore.

Foreign institutions have remained net sellers of Rs 22,371 crore worth of Indian stocks so far in 2023, according to the National Securities Depository Ltd.

The Sensex fell 1.52% to close at 58,237.85, while the Nifty ended 1.49% lower at 17,154.30.
