Fresh Covid-19 cases in India rose for the second day, crossing the 6,000-mark.
The country added 6,395 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Sept. 8.
Higher recoveries than additions, however, continue to keep the active tally in check.
