Covid-19 India Updates: Fresh Cases Spike To 5,379; Daily Deaths At 27

Fresh Covid-19 cases in India rose after three days, crossing the 5,000-mark yet again.

The country added 5,379 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Sept. 7.

The active tally, however, continued its downward trend.

• Total confirmed cases: 4,44,72,241

• Total number of active cases: 50,594

• Total patients cured/discharged/migrated: 4,38,93,590

• Total deaths: 5,28,057

• Number of fresh cases in last 24 hours: 5,379

• One-day recoveries: 7,094

• One-day deaths: 27

• Total vaccines administered: 2,13,91,49,934

• Vaccines administered in the last 24 hours: 18,81,319
