Covid-19 India Updates: Fresh Cases Rise Above 1,000; Daily Deaths At 6

Fresh Covid-19 cases in India rose, crossing the 1,000-mark yet again.

India reported 1,112 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to an 8 a.m. update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The country saw 1,892 recoveries with 6 deaths in the last 24 hours.

India's active case tally now stands at 20,821 - the lowest since June 3.

• Total number of active cases: 20,821

• Cured/discharged/migrated: 4,40,97,072

• Total Deaths: 5,28,987

• Number of fresh cases in last 24 hours: 1,112

• One-day recoveries: 1,892
