Lowest Single Day Covid-19 Infections In Over Six Months
Fresh Covid-19 cases in India lagged daily recoveries for a seventh straight day on Sunday, bringing down the active caseloads.
India reported 1,334 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to an 8 a.m. update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The country saw 1,557 recoveries with 16 deaths in the last 24 hours.
India's active case tally now stands at 23,193. The 1,334 fresh Covid-19 infections reported over the last 24 hours is the lowest in over six months since April 19, 2022. Active cases aggregate 0.05% of infections while the recovery rate stands at 98.76%
