Covid-19 India Updates: Fresh Cases Drop Below 6,000; Daily Recoveries Jump To Highest In A Month

Daily Covid-19 recoveries in India jumped to the highest in a month and fresh infections continued to decline.

The country added 5,439 new coronavirus cases and 30 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Aug. 30.

• Total number of active cases: 65,732

• Total patients cured/discharged/migrated: 4,38,25,024

• Total deaths: 5,27,829

• Number of fresh cases in last 24 hours: 5,439

• One-day recoveries: 22,031

• One-day deaths: 30
