Fresh Covid-19 cases in India remained above the 5,000-mark for the third day in a row.
The country added 5,221 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Sept. 12.
Higher recoveries than additions, however, continue to keep the active tally in check.
