India's fresh Covid-19 cases spiked to over 20,000, snapping a three-day streak of lower additions.
The world’s second-most populous nation reported 20,557 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on July 28. Daily recoveries stood at 19,216.
The country's active tally stayed under 1.5 lakh even as fresh cases surpassed daily recoveries.
