India's active tally of Covid-19 infections rose as the country continues to post around 20,000 fresh cases everyday for the last two weeks.
India reported 19,673 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on July 31. That compares with daily recoveries at 19,336 in the same period.
The country's active tally rose slightly to 1.43 lakh.
