Higher recoveries than additions caused India's active Covid-19 tally to drop to 7,034.

The nation reported 656 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the 8 a.m. update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. There were 790 recoveries, with seven deaths during the same period.
