Covid-19 India Updates: Active Cases Drop Below 90,000; Daily Deaths At 41

Active Covid-19 cases in India continued its downward trend, dropping below the 90,000-mark.

The country added 9,520 new coronavirus cases and 41 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Aug. 27.

The active tally is the lowest since June 23.

• Total confirmed cases: 4,43,98,696

• Total number of active cases: 87,311

• Total patients cured/discharged/migrated: 4,37,83,788

• Total deaths: 5,27,597

• Number of fresh cases in last 24 hours: 9,520

• One-day recoveries: 12,875
