Royal Enfield Names HMSI's Yadvinder Singh Guleria As Chief Commercial Officer

Yadvinder Singh Guleria will be responsible Royal Enfield's global business growth, spearheading sales, marketing and aftermarket functions.

Royal Enfield has apointed former Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Executive Yadvinder Singh Guleria as its chief commercial officer.

Guleria was with HMSI for nearly two decades, last serving as its director of sales and marketing. At Royal Enfield, he will be responsible for the firm's global business growth -- spearheading sales, marketing and aftermarket functions. He will report to CEO B Govindarajan as part of the company's management team.

"Yadvinder's experience will be valuable in channeling this team's (Enfield's) enthusiasm, and shaping future business growth for us," Govindarajan said in the statement.

Separately, Royal Enfield reported its sales figures for the month of June. The company dispatched a total of 61,407 units last month, up 43% year-on-year. Exports rose 54% over the year ago to 11,142 units.
