Royal Enfield's Upcoming Super Meteor 650 Teaser And Unveil Date Revealed

After a long wait, popular Indian automobile manufacturer Royal Enfield has finally released a teaser for their highly anticipated upcoming Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 which has been in development for a few years. Fans of Royal Enfield bikes have been patiently waiting for many years for the launch of this powerful bike. Royal Enfield has announced that the bike will be unveiled for the first time on November 8 at the Italian EICMA 2022 bike show. In India, the bike is expected to be unveiled at Rider Mania 2022. It is expected that the bike would be finally launched in December 2022 or January 2023.

The Super Meteor 650 is a highly anticipated bike from the well-known Indian bike manufacturer Royal Enfield. The Super Meteor 650 is a cruiser motorcycle and will be the third 650 cc bike by Royal Enfield after the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. To be more precise, the Super Meteor 650 will have a 648 cc, air and oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine. The bike will be capable of producing 47bhp of power and 53Nm of maximum torque. The Super Meteor 650 will come with a 6-speed gearbox. Some leaked images of the bike have revealed that the bike’s suspension setup will include upside-down front forks and twin-sided rear springs. The bike will have disc brakes on both wheels and as per the leaked photographs, will come with alloy wheels and tubeless tires.

In the official teaser released by Royal Enfield, only a very small glimpse of the Super Meteor 650 is given. As seen in the teaser, the Royal Enfield interceptor appears to have an LED tail light which is quite similar to the tail light on the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. The Super Meteor 650 also appears to have a very comfortable and wide handlebar which is befitting for cruiser bikes. At this time, the expected ex-showroom price of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 350 is around ₹3.5 lakh but will only be confirmed once the bike is officially launched.
