Inflation, as measured by the Wholesale Price Index, stood at 15.18% in June against 15.88% in May, according to data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on Thursday. The gauge was flat month-on-month.
WPI inflation recorded double-digit print for the 15th straight month.

Inflation in manufactured products—the largest component of the index—stood at 9.19% compared with 10.11% in May.
Primary articles inflation stood at 19.22% compared with 19.71% in the previous month.
Inflation in food articles was at 14.39% against 12.34% in the previous month.
Vegetables inflation stood at 56.75% compared with 56.36% in May.
Inflation in non-food articles was at 18.8% against 24.14% in May.
Fuel and power inflation stood at 40.38% against 40.62% in December.
