Indian Rupee Ends Lower Against The U.S. Dollar

The Indian rupee ended lower after opening flat against the U.S. dollar on Thursday.

The local currency opened one paisa lower at 82.30.

Through the day, it gained as much as 0.07% against the greenback to 82.25. However, by late trade, it reversed all gains to end 0.04% lower at 82.34 apiece.

The rupee hit a record low of 82.72 earlier this week.
