FPIs Stay Net Sellers For The Sixth Straight Day

FPIs net sold equities worth Rs 1,011.23 crore today, as per data from the National Stock Exchange.

Overseas investors in Indian equities remained net sellers for the sixth day in a row, on Friday.

Foreign portfolio investors net sold equities worth Rs 1,011.23 crore today, as per data from the National Stock Exchange.

On the other hand, domestic institutional investors remained net buyers and bought equities worth Rs 1,624.13 crore.

Institutions have net bought Rs 1,487.83 crore worth of equities in October so far and net sold Rs 36,338.78 crore worth of Indian equities in 2022.

The Sensex added about 1.2% to close at 57,919.97, while the Nifty 50 added about 1% to close at 17,185.70.
