FPIs Stay Net Sellers For The Sixth Straight Day

Domestic institutional investors remained net buyers for the seventh straight day and bought equities worth Rs 2,544.17 crore.

Overseas investors in Indian equities remained net sellers for the sixth day in a row, on Wednesday.

Foreign portfolio investors net sold equities worth Rs 2,772.49 crore today, as per data from the National Stock Exchange.

On the other hand, domestic institutional investors remained net buyers for the seventh straight day and bought equities worth Rs 2,544.17 crore today.

Institutions have net sold Rs 5,585.98 crore worth of equities this month and Rs 39,069.06 crore worth of Indian equities till date in 2022.

The BSE Sensex lost over 500 points to close at 56,598.28. The Nifty 50 also declined nearly 1% to close at 16,858.60.
