FPIs Stay Net Sellers For The Second Straight Day

Foreign portfolio investors net sold equities worth Rs 2,139.02 crore today.

Overseas investors in Indian equities remained net sellers for the second day in a row on Monday.

Foreign portfolio investors net sold equities worth Rs 2,139.02 crore today, as per data from the National Stock Exchange.

On the other hand, domestic institutional investors turned net buyers and bought equities worth Rs 2,137.46 crore.

Institutions have net bought Rs 4,399.02 crore worth of equities in October so far and net sold Rs 33,429.59 crore worth of Indian equities in 2022.

The BSE Sensex fell 0.34% (200 points) and closed at 57,991.11, while the Nifty 50 also declined by a similar magnitude to close at 17,241.
