FPIs Stay Net Sellers For The Eighth Straight Day

FPIs net sold equities worth Rs 153.40 crore, as per data from the National Stock Exchange.

Overseas investors in Indian equities remained net sellers for the eighth day in a row on Tuesday.

Foreign portfolio investors net sold equities worth Rs 153.40 crore, as per data from the National Stock Exchange.

On the other hand, domestic institutional investors stayed net buyers and bought equities worth Rs 2,084.71 crore.

Institutions have net bought Rs 4,629.35 crore worth of equities in October and net sold Rs 33,197.26 crore worth of Indian equities till date in 2022.

The Sensex added over 549 points (0.94%) to close at 58,960.60, while the Nifty 50 added about 175 points (1.01%) to close at 17,486.95.
