After three days of selling, domestic institutional investors, too, turned net buyers of equities worth Rs 131.9 crore.
Institutions have net bought Rs 455.2 crore worth of equities so far in September and net sold Rs 33,027.9 crore worth of domestic stocks till date in 2022.
The Sensex rose nearly 1% to end at 59,719.74 on Tuesday, while the Nifty 50 added nearly 200 points to close at 17,816.25.
