FPIs Stay Net Buyers For The Second Straight Day

Domestic institutional investors net sold equities worth Rs 322.34 crore today.

Overseas investors in Indian equities remained net buyers for the second day in a row on Wednesday.

Foreign portfolio investors snapped out of the longest stretch of net inflows spanning 13 days on Thursday, last week.

FPIs net bought equities worth Rs 23.19 crore today, as per data from the National Stock Exchange.

Domestic institutional investors net sold equities worth Rs 322.34 crore today.

Institutions have net bought Rs 11,427.39 crore worth of equities so far in August, and net sold equities worth Rs 37,012.3 crore in 2022.

India's stock benchmarks advanced for the second day after swinging between gains and losses for most of the session.

The BSE Sensex jumped by 50 plus points to end at 59,085.43, while the Nifty 50 increased by 0.16% to close at 17,604.95.
