FPIs Snap Nine-Day Selling Streak To Turn Net Buyers

Overseas investors in Indian equities turned net buyers after nine days of net selling, on Thursday.

Foreign portfolio investors net bought equities worth Rs 1,864.79 crore, as per data from the National Stock Exchange.

Domestic institutional investors turned net sellers and sold equities worth Rs 886.80 crore.

Institutions have net bought Rs 6,061.85 crore worth of equities in October and net sold Rs 31,764.76 crore worth of Indian equities till date in 2022.

The Sensex gained nearly 100 points (0.16%) to close at 59,202.90, while the Nifty 50 rose 0.3% (52 points) to close at 17,563.95.
