Foreign portfolio investors net bought equities worth Rs 1,231.9 crore, according to data from the National Stock Exchange.
On the other hand, domestic institutional investors turned net sellers and offloaded equities worth Rs 235.6 crore.
Institutions have net bought Rs 9,696.8 crore worth of equities so far in November, and net sold Rs 22,000 crore worth of Indian equities till date in 2022.
The Sensex closed 1.24% higher at 62,272.68, while the Nifty rose 1.19% to close at 18,484.10.
