Easy Trip Planners Gains On Stock Split, Bonus Share Issue Plan

EaseMyTrip will consider a proposal for an increase in authorised share capital, issue of bonus shares and stock split on Oct. 10.

Shares of Easy Trip Planners Ltd. jumped the most in two months after the company said its board would consider a proposal for a bonus share issue and stock split.

The ticketing platform doing business as EaseMyTrip will consider a proposal for an increase in authorised share capital, issue of bonus shares and stock split on Oct. 10, according to an exchange filing.

Reacting to this, shares of the Pitti brothers-led company surged as much as 9.2%, the most since Aug. 4. Trading volume in the stock, too, had spiked to 7.6 times the 30-day average at around 10 a.m.
