Fresh Covid-19 cases in India dropped to the lowest since April 20, dragging down the active tally.
The nation reported 2,202 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as of 8 a.m. on May 16. Single-day recoveries stood at 2,550.
Fresh cases last dropped to 2,200-levels on April 20.
