In the first half of the fiscal year TCS hired 43,000 freshers. At this pace, the Tata company's gross hires for FY22 may come close to or exceed one lakh this year.

At Infosys, the global graduate hiring program has been expanded to 55,000 for FY22, as per its Q3 earnings statement. Wipro has so far hired 17,500 freshers in FY22 and intends to double that next fiscal, the company spokesperson said.
