Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd., the maker of namesake ready-to-eat products, is the top pick for Mumbai-based investor and fund manager Rishi Maheshwari among fast-moving consumer goods companies.

“The key strengths of the company are its unique ability to service the overseas community from the Indian sub-continent and the distribution ability of its parent Mars Food across the globe,” Maheshwari, who’s also the founder and managing partner of Aksa Capital, said on the sidelines of Alpha Ideas 20-20 event in Mumbai.

Mars Food’s distribution could help Tasty Bite Eatables tap newer markets, he said.

At present, Tasty Bite is present in the Middle East and some parts of Europe and North America. Also, the recent correction in shares of Tasty Bite provide a good opportunity to take exposure, Maheshwari said.
